Ville-Pekka Parkkinen, Sales Director

I’m a Sales Manager at Cross Wrap. My main task is to sell our machines, as well as support our customers and answer any questions that a customer may have. I operate in several market areas: France, Benelux, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. I have been with the company since 2018.

As a sales manager, I also work closely with other teams across the organization. Collaboration between teams helps me to work towards our common goals. My goal is to provide the best possible customer experience starting from project planning, machine commissioning and aftersales service.

How would you describe Cross Wrap as a company?

Cross Wrap´s staff is an agile and collaborative team, and all its members work together to achieve the same business goals. Each of our employees has a unique skill set. Teammates can approach any problem from diverse angles.

We collect data that helps us to understand how our customers use our machinery. This allows us to create a better user experience. Cross Wrap´s machine tools are the source of some of the most valuable data. This includes statuses, modes, alarms, overrides, loads, speed and feed. Machine metrics collect this information by connecting to machine tools via internet.

What are your favorite things to do when not creating industry leading machinery and world-class customer experience?

During my free time, you can often find me at the tennis court. I also enjoy cooking.
