Challenge

The Verdun plant wanted to replace manual wire cutting with a safer, fully automatic dewiring process and gain better visibility and control over PET infeed to keep the recycling line streamlined.  

Solution

Two Bale Dewiring machines deliver automatic gripping, cutting, and coiling of bale wires. The line includes camera monitoring and an integrated automatic bale-weighing system for real-time infeed data and a compact footprint. 

The chosen options help the operator to securely follow all actions in the Dewiring process and to measure and follow infeed materials quality and amount. The frame-mounted weighing system helps to keep the bale feeding line as compact as possible and provide on-time information on each individual dewired bale.
