Mika Leinonen joined Cross Wrap’s team at the end of the year as a Sales Manager for CW Packaging line sales. After several years of experience in the metal manufacturing industry, he has taken a new direction and challenge in his career with a focus on global sales.
Earlier in his career, Mika worked as a business unit manager at a metal manufacturing company and was responsible for business sales, production, and development. He has also worked as a service engineer and service manager in the mining machine industry.
Mika describes himself as an internationally minded person. Over the years he has visited about 30 different countries worldwide and gotten acquainted with many different cultures. Mika was always excited to understand the processes and operating principles of machinery, as well as fixing devices himself. Along with the work, Mika is studying mechanical engineering at Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Besides his work, Mika spends his free time with his family. He is also active in sports and outdoor activities, such as ice hockey, gym, snowmobile racing, and practical shooting.

I will also cooperate with our customers on board packaging operation improvement to make their operations more efficient, automated, and cost-effective. The board packaging industry is very interesting to me, and I am excited to learn more about it”, Mika comments.
