Our board packaging lines are based on the same technology as our wrappers. Plastic film is wrapped around the product forming an airtight cover, using just one material. Airtight packaging with a clean look 

Our packaging line has been used to wrap board-like products, like plywood, veneers, MDF and OSB all around the world, but there is potential for much more. As all our packaging lines are manufactured individually for a specific project, there is room to modify and innovate. 

The core of a packaging line is the wrapping of the product, which is done automatically by two rollers. The machine recognizes the shape and size of the product being wrapped, making it possible to wrap different shapes and sizes on the same operation line. The seaming unit (optional) finishes the wrapping by cutting the film and sealing it shut with heat, creating a clean look. The line produces packages with continuous quality and yet maintains flexibility in the process.

Add labels and bottom skids automatically – our optional add-ons

The whole process of packaging, including the lifting of the product to the right height to be wrapped with conveyors, can be done using Cross Wrap’s products. In addition to the packaging machinery itself, we offer a selection of options to level up your packaging line.

• Bottom skid feeder automatically adds skids on the bottom (and/or sides) of the package. Easy to move with a forklift and to transport, no manual labour required. 
• Labeling unit automatically adds labels with the needed information on the side of the package. The label stays intact between the film layers. 
• Weighing conveyor is an easy way to weigh your products.
• Stacking device lets you handle multiple products at once, stacked on top of each other automatically.
