Marketing manager for a circular economy pioneer

Cross Wrap Oy is a part of the Finnish family-owned Saalasti Group, known for innovative technologies and products that have become industry standards in the recycling and sustainability industries. The Group has a turnover of approximately EUR 43 million and offices in five different countries on three continents. It employs approximately 160 people worldwide.

Cross Wrap helps its customers to manage material flows in the circular economy: for example, wrapping, opening or dewiring bales of waste & recyclable materials. Almost all of its turnover (around €13 million in 2023) comes from export. We have manufactured, delivered and installed 600 machines in 65 countries. This, together with more than 100 million bales processed, is a guarantee of our technology and efficient customer service. We have around 40 new sales projects each year. Maintenance services now account for around 15% of our turnover and are growing strongly.

Marketing manager

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our international sales and marketing team. Our main markets are Europe and the USA and our customers include plastics recycling professionals, recycled material and paper manufacturers, waste and energy management companies, and wood manufacturing companies throughout the world.

If you have experience in international B2B marketing in the technical field, are interested in machines and technology, have an eye for developing marketing processes and want to work in an international team and environment, then apply to join our team!

Your main tasks will be
• Plan and implement Cross Wrap’s B2B marketing with external partners.
• Coordinate and develop Cross Wrap’s marketing as a whole
• Cross Wrap brand development
• Trade show and event organizing
• Digital marketing development with external partners
• Marketing metrics and reporting
• Working closely with sales and lifecycle services teams

If you have…
• A relevant education and a few years’ experience as a marketing manager
• Excellent ability to understand connections between different entities
• Ability to coordinate large projects
• A can-do attitude
• Excellent practical marketing skills
• Sufficient understanding of digital marketing to develop and manage it
• Fluent in English, other languages an advantage
• Initiative
• Client focus
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently

Other information
We hope that the person can start as soon as possible. The position is permanent. Our office is in Siilinjärvi, but there is a possibility of hybrid work. The duties include some travelling to exhibitions and visits to our customers and partners around the world.
