In the past year, Cross Wrap has strongly focused on digital development. Our goal is to offer our customers more value through data and new digital services. By collecting more data, we can turn the processed data into valuable insights that help our customers’ business succeed.

Steps towards new digital services

At the beginning of this year, Cross Wrap hired new talent to run digital development. Laura Leskinen is a data-driven professional with a strong experience in creating more value for customers through data. Her goals as a new Business Development Director are to help Cross Wrap to grow through developing and creating new digital services for customers.

“In our development for new digital services, everything starts from the customer needs and focuses on aspects that will bring more value to them”, Laura Leskinen comments. “By collecting data and monitoring the machines, we can offer even better mechanical stability when disruptions and errors can be forecasted. But data can also bring a lot of different benefits in addition to monitoring. We can create new services to increase the efficiency and quality of the whole process.”

Our customers have been extremely satisfied with our excellent Cross Wrap machines for decades, and now we want to keep up with the newest technologies to best serve our customers.

“All industries are increasingly interested in understanding and developing processes based on data. Cross Wrap wants to help its customers to succeed by keeping them at the peak of digital development in processes where our machines and services play a role. With the data-based digital services, we can create more value for our customers’ business”, says Cross Wrap’s CEO Jukka Pennanen.

New services launching soon

Many of our currently ongoing digital projects will be launched during this spring and summer. These services will include a new customer portal, where customers can see their machine information, manuals, and service reports. In addition, we will launch a web shop where customers can purchase spare parts. The web shop gives our customers the opportunity to buy spare parts online 24/7. Stay tuned, we will soon share an update on our new services!

Take part in Cross Wrap’s digital development

Our customers are a key part of developing our digital services. Thus, we want to encourage everyone who wants to take part in our digital development projects to reach out to Laura Leskinen. We are in need of pilot customers and would like to exchange ideas on how we could help your digital development.
