Clean and informative look for your packaging with labeling 

Your customers expect you to inform them of what’s inside the package and how much it weighs, for example. Labeling your packages provides the necessary data for increased transparency and traceability. 

Advantages of using Cross Wrap’s Labeling unit include:

Cross Wrap’s Labeling unit for board packaging is essentially a robotic arm that glues the label in place. The label design can be tailored to your needs – barcode or running numbering are viable options for example. If your personnel is still applying labels by hand, upgrading to the Labeling unit increases efficiency and automation leaves time for the personnel to do other tasks. 

We understand that a clean and polished look is important for packaging. Unlike other methods of attaching the label, the machine makes sure the label stays intact between the layers of packaging film, keeping the label clean. 

Automatic scale directly on your operation line

If you’re not already using an automatic scale to measure the weight of each of your packages, Cross Wrap’s Weighing conveyor for board packaging lines might be the right solution for you.

The Weighing conveyor is integrated into the packaging line and works as an automatic scale. Integration decreases the need to move the packages around to scale them. It’s good to note that extra space is needed for the conveyor to fit into your existing line. The size of the conveyor depends on your needs. 

The weighing conveyor gives you data on individual packages on a non-stop line, providing good capacity. The Weighing conveyor gives you data on individual packages and the cumulative weight of material handled in a shift, day, week and so on. The Weighing conveyor makes sure you stay on track of your operations even better than before. It is suitable for our 2200 and 2500 Bale Wrappers and Direct Bale Wrapper as well as the electric models.

The Weighing conveyor and Labeling unit work seamlessly together but can also be purchased separately. The installation of the new machinery takes about a week.
